Our Mission

The mission of Edgewater Village Chicago is to engage and support older adults, enhancing their quality of life as they age, so they remain active and contributing members of the community.

Background

Edgewater Village Chicago is a volunteer-led, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is open to any Chicago resident. There is no membership fee, and most of our programs are free. We began in 2016 in partnership with the City of Chicago’s Area Agency of Aging. 

Activities and Programs

We offer a variety of programs each month. Many activities take place in the Edgewater Senior Satellite Center, which is inside the Broadway Armory, 5917 N. Broadway. We also conduct activities and programs at other location and with partnering organizations.
