Decluttering 101 (in person)

  • Edgewater Branch Library 6000 North Broadway Chicago, IL, 60660 United States (map)

Too much stuff piled in the corners? Can’t find that piece of paper you need? We’ll help you make a plan for decluttering your home. Explore the steps you need to get started and discuss strategies for sorting through and letting go of stuff. We’ll also review routines that can help you stay organized.

This program will be presented by Marnie Dawson, owner of Dawson Relocation Services serving the Chicagoland area. She and her team have been helping older adults and their families with the downsizing and moving process since 2008. She is an active member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM). Locally, she is a board member of the Illinois Continuity of Care Organization. Her passion is finding new and creative ways to navigate the emotional challenges of letting go.

Please register on the library’s website, by phone (312-742-1945) , or in person at any Chicago Public Library location.

Offered in partnership with the Edgewater Branch Library.
