In his second presentation for Edgewater Village, Craig Sirles, an emeritus professor of English at DePaul University, will answer these fascinating questions studied by language historians. He'll also share recent research about pidgin and creole languages in the Caribbean area as it may explain how English morphed from the 10th through 17th centuries.
