Making Mindful Moves

  • Edgewater Branch Library 6000 North Broadway Chicago, IL, 60660 United States (map)

Are you a disabled or older adult who has thought of moving from home? Perhaps finances have become an issue, or the stairs and layout of your home are no longer serving you. The need for more assistance may also be a serious concern. In this presentation, you’ll learn about some of the different housing options and solutions available and growing movements to invent better and more imaginative choices.  We will emphasize the importance of mindful, strategic planning for all aspects of the aging-well experience.

This program is hosted by Joan Ente, Care Director at Renewal Memory Partners and a veteran social worker and private geriatric care manager with over 30 years’ experience.

Held in partnership with the Edgewater Branch Library.
