Edgewater Village Chicago is holding a series of gatherings to chat about movies. Participants will view each film on their own and then join a group discussion via Zoom. Movies are selected through discussion and a decision of Chat participants. Join the Movie Chat and bring your recommendations!
The films for October 2 are Hobson’s Choice (1954) and Blithe Spirit (1945)
Hobson’s Choice: Widower Henry Hobson (Charles Laughton) is a successful bootmaker and a tyrannical father of three daughters who all want to leave him by getting married, but he refuses because marriage traditions require him to pay out settlements.
