Movie Chat Series

NOTE: starting on Feb. 6, 2022, this series will be at 7 p.m .on Sundays.

Edgewater Village Chicago is holding a series of gatherings to chat about movies. Participants will view each film on their own and then join a group discussion via Zoom.  Movies are selected through discussion and a decision of Chat participants. Join the Movie Chat and bring your recommendations! This week’s movies are The Maltese Falcon (1941) and The Westerner (1940).

The Maltese Falcon rated 8.0/10 “The stuff dreams are made of.” Where is it? Who's got it? The portly man, the mysterious woman, the perfumed dandy? This is John Huston's directorial debut and the film that made Bogie a star.
