Movie Chat Series

Edgewater Village Chicago is holding a series of gatherings to chat about movies. Participants will view each film on their own and then join a group discussion via Zoom.  Movies are selected through discussion and a decision of Chat participants. Join the Movie Chat and bring your recommendations! This week’s movies are Fiddler on the Roof (1971) and Luck of the Irish (1948).

Fiddler on the Roof rated 8.0/10 "Pride and prejudice" in a Jewish community in a small pre- revolution Russian village and set to music too. And hey! What's that fiddler doing on my roof? Hey, he's got five daughters, let him fiddle. What can it hurt?

Luck of the Irish rated 6.7/10 Following American reporter Stephen Fitzgerald from Ireland to New York, a grateful leprechaun acts as the newsman's servant and conscience.

Copies of these movies are available on DVD at the Edgewater Branch library for checkout with your library card or you can watch them online through a streaming service of your choice.
