Movie Chat Series

Edgewater Village Chicago is holding a series of gatherings to chat about movies. Participants will view each film on their own and then join a group discussion via Zoom.  Movies are selected through discussion and a decision of Chat participants. Join the Movie Chat and bring your recommendations! This week’s movies are:

Mash rated 8.4/10 (1970) Has anyone got a hemostat? Fun and hijinks under a tent in a mobile army surgical hospital during the Korean Conflict punctuated by periodic moments of blood and mayhem. Did someone call for a hemostat?

The Best Years of our Lives rated 8.1/10 (1946) The war is over and it's time to go home but it's not so easy readjusting to an also changed civilian life. Academy Award Best Picture winner is still a powerful film.

• Stars: Myrna Loy, Dana Andrews and Fredric March
