Edgewater Village Chicago is holding a series of gatherings to chat about movies. Participants will view each film on their own and then join a group discussion via Zoom. The Red Shoes rated 8.1/10 (1948) This British film–based on a Hans Christian Anderson story, follows an ambitious young ballerina ultimately forced to choose between her love of dance and a young composer.

Love with the Proper Stranger rated 7.3/10 (1963) An innocent girl, feeling trapped and smothered by her Italian-American family has a night of reckless abandon and then comes the dawn. How will things work out before Roe vs Wade? An interesting movie with a great performance by Natalie Wood.
