Edgewater Village Chicago is holding a series of gatherings to chat about movies. Participants will view each film on their own and then join a group discussion via Zoom. 

The films for June 5 are Some Like it Hot and Children of Paradise (Fr).

Some Like it Hot: After two male musicians witness the St. Valentine's Day massacre, they flee the state in an all-female band disguised as women, leading to further complications.

Children of Paradise (Fr): Garance meets the mime Baptiste when she is falsely accused of stealing a man's watch. Many try to seize her heart, but in the end, she seems to need only one man

Copies of these movies are available on DVD at the Edgewater Branch library for checkout with your library card or you can watch them online through a streaming service of your choice.
