Each week’s discussion is typically accompanied by some readings you’ll receive in advance via email. Topics for the subsequent week are decided at the previous discussion. Today’s topics are:

• Is today a good time to be a teacher or a school administrator? What are the most important problems that teachers and school systems are facing and what should we be doing to solve them?

• Discussion of latest developments in Ukraine, followed by an appraisal of President Biden’s State of the Union address and his performance on his 2020 campaign promises to date.
