  • Will it recover its pre-COVID workplace’s economic role and cultural importance?

  • What are the changes that have occurred, and still are occurring, and how will the city evolve?

  • Will employee “work life” be better in a decentralized “work from home” employment model?

  • Will Chicago lose regional importance and cultural influence without a bustling downtown?

• The future of the Republican Party:

  • If Trump is not the Republican presidential candidate, what do MAGA voters do? Turn to MAGA candidates within the GOP? Form a third party?

  • Can the traditional (pre-MAGA) GOP reassert itself and still provide a political alternative to the Democratic Party?
