Populism: The rise of anti-elitist/nativist political movements in USA (January 6th insurrection) and worldwide (LePen in France, etc.).  

The anticipated Supreme Count ruling on affirmative action in college admissions:

• What is rationale for race-based admission standards?  Can diversity be achieved without race-based standards? 

• Is there a rationale for legacy admissions or athletic/music/theatre, etc. admissions?

• Should the principal admission criteria be one's performance on standardized tests?
