It has a 4.5-acre pond, woodlands, wetlands, prairie and savanna habitats. The walk is on paved paths. Participants will need to wear a mask and maintain social distancing. This walk is led by Tom Murphy, who is a member of the Park Advisory Council for the Nature Preserve and is the site steward..

The Park District limits groups to 10 people and so registration for the event is required. Register no later than September 26.
