Based on the autobiographical graphic novel by Alison Bechdel, Fun Home is a musical coming-of age story. Present-day Alison recalls her youth in the Bechdel Funeral Home, seeking understanding of her father’s death, and acceptance of her own sexuality. This undeniably human story invites audience members to process and reflect alongside Alison upon the moments which brought each of them to this point in their lives.

The New York production of Fun Home was nominated for twelve Tony Awards, winning five, including Best Musical, and its cast album received a nomination for the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.
