Join Tom Murphy, Professor Emeritus, Ph.D., Environmental Science and Studies, De Paul University, for a presentation about the world’s changing climate in layman’s terms. Discussion topics:

  • Effects of global warming and global climate change

  • The major causes of global warming and projections for the future.

  • Ways to slow or even halt warming and their costs

  • How will we heat our buildings when the use of natural gas is banned?.

This in-person presentation will be held in the Edgewater Branch Library’s Betty A. Barclay Community Room.
