Do you like to chat about movies? Participants view each film on their own and then join a group discussion and critique via Zoom. Movies are selected through discussion and a decision of Chat participants. Join the Movie Chat and bring your recommendations! This week’s movies are:

Abe Lincoln in Illinois - rated 7.3/10 (1940) From his early days in backwoods Kentucky he gains the respect of his neighbors. He is eventually elected to the State legislature and practices law, becomes a congressman, is elected president, and then departs for Washington in 1860.

An Affair to Remember - rated 7.4/10 (1957) A playboy returning to New York to marry an heiress meets a singer going to meet her longtime boyfriend. They soon fall in love and agree to meet again in 6 months atop the Empire State building. Fate intervenes but only fate can save their relationship.
