Edgewater Village Chicago is holding a series of gatherings to chat about movies. Participants will view each film on their own and then join a group discussion via Zoom. Cold Mountain rated 7.2/10 (2003) Tragic love story set against the backdrop of the American Civil War. A Confederate soldier tries to get home to the woman he loves who is fighting for survival while trying to save her farm.

Usual Suspects rated 8.2/10 (1995) Classic neo-noir crime thriller, largely told in flashback. Sole survivor tells of the events leading up to a horrific gun battle on a boat, with an unexpected ending. “The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist”.
