Coffee & Conversation has returned to in-person meetings. The venue is the fenced-in, open-air patio of Rewired Pizza Café, 1100 W Thorndale, at the corner of Winthrop, near the Red Line Thorndale station.

The café has a variety of typical breakfast baked goods as well as a number of more substantial breakfast dishes. The coffee menu features locally roasted coffee beans and hand-crafted flavors.

Let’s take advantage of the warm weather and the opportunity to talk in person!! If you are unable to travel for whatever reason, we hope to make this a “hybrid“ meeting so that you can participate online.

Each week’s discussion is typically accompanied by some readings you’ll receive in advance via email. Topics for the subsequent week are decided at the previous discussion. This week’s topics are:

• The on-going Congressional investigation of January 6th: How might their findings impact the November elections and what might be the political impact on Trump?

• The Ukraine war: If/when/since Russia is escalating the conflict what is proper US/EU level of support for Ukrainian nation?
