Each week’s discussion is typically accompanied by some readings you’ll receive in advance via email. Topics for the subsequent week are decided at the previous discussion. This week’s topics are:

• US immigration Issues — On what basis should US admit immigrants? Is the busing of recently arrived immigrants from Texas and Florida to Sanctuary Cities in Blue states merely a cynical political ploy exposing political hypocrisy, or one more prod to get Congress to address the immigration issue?

• Healthcare in USA — Why are costs so high? How might we restructure healthcare?
